The relatives of 31-year-old Bhagwati Adhikari accused the hospital staff of negligence that took her life.
“The doctors used wrong medicines on her while she was in labour. It is the hospital’s fault that she died,” said Bhagwati’s husband Pashupati. Bhagwati’s relatives have refuse to receive her body and demanded action against the doctor and compensation.
Krishna Khanal, the hospital’s medical superintendent, said, “Doctors cannot be blamed without any proof of negligence. We will investigate into the matter and take the decision.”
A meeting held between Bhagwati’s relatives and the hospital representatives on Monday ended without any conclusion.
