RJPN’s Raj Kishor Sah elected mayor of Janakpur Sub-Metro

Major political parties had also worked hard to win the elections. But they failed to woo the voters. Lal Kishor Sah of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal was elected mayor of Janakpur by a huge margin. He secured 21,227 votes while his rival candidate of Nepali Congress Manoj Kumar Sah garnered 10,639 votes.
Similarly, RJPN’s Rita Jha has been elected as deputy mayor of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan by securing 16617 votes. NC’s deputy mayoral candidate Neelam Karna received 10,109 votes.
Talking after winning the election, Lal Kishor Sah said this was not just his victory but the victory of people. “I a servant of Janakpur and I want to work as a servant of mother Janaki,” he said.
