RPP leader Pratibha Rana appointed Nepal’s envoy to Japan
The government on Sunday appointed Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Pratibha Rana as Nepal’s ambassadors to Japan.The government on Sunday appointed Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Pratibha Rana as Nepal’s ambassadors to Japan.
The appointment was made on the recommendation of President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
Similarly, Nepal's Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Jhabindra Prasad Aryal, has been given the responsibility of Morocco and Lebanon as a non-resident ambassador.
Likewise, Lok Bahadur Thapa, Nepal's envoy to Belgium, will also hold the post of non-resident ambassador to Luxemburg, while ambassador to Pakistan, Sewa Lamsal, to Islamic Republic to Iran, ambassador to South Africa, Amrit Bahadur Rai, to Zimbabwe and ambassador to Brazil, Tara Prasad Pokhrel, to Argentina.
Thapa is the mother-in-law of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
