CIAA Chief Karki’s activities against decorum of his post: Minister Thapa

He was here in the district on Tuesday to inaugurate pharmacy section of Beni Hospital and hand over general anesthetic machine to the hospital.
Talking ot jounalists, Minister Thapa said that CIAA Chief Karki’s activities were beyond the dignity of his post and responsibility.
“I can’t speak against CIAA Chief Karki on account of my ministerial post as his case is subjudice at Supreme Court. But my personal understanding is that karki’s behaviour is against the propriety of his post,” said Minister Thapa, “I agree with the demands raised by Dr Govinda Kc. We are trying to find a a way-out.”
In a separate meeting with the cadres of his party, Nepali Congress (NC), Thapa said the the local body elections would be held by the end of Apirl, 2017, and directed them to be prepared for the same. He claimed that the current NC-led government would conduct the local body elections given the Nepali tradition of forging deal at the last minute.
Along with the inauguration of pharmacy section at the hospital, Thapa also handed over a general anesthetic machine to the hospital administraiton. The district hospital has been providing surgery facility with the support from Nick Simons.
Minister Thapa assured to allcoate budget for the construction of a temporary building to the 15-bed hospital that is aiming to upgrade its capacity to 50-bed. He visited OPD, pharmacy, dental, emergency, operation theatre and general ward, among other sections of the hospital.
