A government inspection team on Monday sealed Pulchok-based Sajha petrol station for cheating customers on quantity. It was a wounding blow to the long trust of general public on the Sajha fuel station for quality and quantity.
A monitoring team of the Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology on Monday sealed the Sajha fuel station and Kumaripati-based Mahayan petrol pump after finding that the stations were dispensing less fuel.
Likewise, the monitoring team has directed Ekantakuna-based Jawalakhel petrol pump to distribute fuel only after settling the pump.
Nepal Bureau of Standards, Department of Supply Management and Department of Consumer Rights Protection, and National Consumer Rights Protection Forum jointly conducted the monitoring.
