Nepali worker dies in S Korea industrial accident
A Nepali migrant worker died in an industrial accident in Busan of South Korea on Wednesday.

A Nepali migrant worker died in an industrial accident in Busan of South Korea on Wednesday.
Yam Bahadur Thapa Magar, a Nepali working at a paper mill in Gyeongbuk Daegu, died while cleaning a chemical tank on Wednesday morning, said a Nepali worker. He arrived in Korea 23 months ago under Employment Permit System (EPS). Other three Nepali are working for the company based in second largest city of South Korea.
Nepali workers informed the Seoul-based Nepali Embassy about the incident. His body has been kept at a hospital. He is survived by his wife and a son. Deceased Magar’s brother, who is also in Korea, was on his way to the incident site.
The Nepali workers said they were not aware about the exact cause of dead. It has been learnt that S Korea has been witnessing a series of accidents in recent times. The trade union workers have been demanding that such accidents should be investigated.
