Murder case filed against suspended lawmaker Sah at Dhanusha court

The District Police Office (DPO) on Sunday filed a case against suspended lawmaker Sanjaya Kumar Sah and 11 others at the Dhanusha District Court in connection with the murder of media entrepreneur Arun Singhaniya.
According to Superintendent of Police Ramdutta Joshi, along with Sah, the murder case was filed against Chandradeep Yadav, Eklal Sahani, Om Prakash Yadav, Mukesh Chaudhary, Amshi Rain, Rambinod Yadav, Dipendra Kushiyat Yadav, Pawan Lama, Manak Lama, Ramkaran and one more person whose name is yet to be ascertained. Sanjaya Kumar, Chandradeep, Om Prakash, Mukesh, Amshi, Ramkaran and Ekalal are now in police custody.
Singhaniya, the chairman of the Janakpur Today Communications Group, was shot dead at Shiva Chowk in Janakpur on March 1, 2010.
The murder of Singhaniya came to light following the arrest of Chandradeep from Janakpur-1 on March 29. During a police interrogation, Chandradeep said that Sah and his aide Rambinod had provided Rs1 million for the crime. Sah, who was elected from Dhanusha-4 to the second CA, was suspended for his involvement in the Janakpur bomb blast of 2012 in which five people were killed.
