Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital remained tense on Monday morning after a patient died while undergoing surgery.

Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital remained tense throughout Monday morning after a patient died while undergoing surgery.
Samikchya Pandit, 13, had died this morning. She was kept at the ICU after she got fever following the surgery.
The relatives staged a protest alleging that the patient died due to “the carelessness of the doctors”. District Police Office DSP Shiva Kumar Shrestha told that the hospital management and Pandit’s relatives are discussing ways to reach a settlement.
