A bus driver died after a bus fell around 50 metres down the road in Beni municipality-13 on Sunday night.

The mini-microbus Ga 1 Kha 5366 was heading towards lower Tatopani from Upper Tatopani when it plunged into Beni River.  The driver has been identified as 32-year-old Prem Baniya. He died while undergoing treatment at Myagdi District Hospital.

According to Myagdi District Traffic Police Office, the accident occurred when the driver lost control of the bus due to poor road condition.
