A delegation of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has left here for Bangladesh on Saturday to carryout study on feasibility for importing petroleum products.
The NOC, which has been searching different alternatives due to fuel crisis in the country following unannounced border blockade by India, sent the team to Bangladesh for the same.
The delegation comprises Chief and Director of the NOC Engineering Department Birendra Goit and NOC Spokesperson Mukunda Ghimire, among others. A bilateral discussion would be held regarding importing cooking gas, petrol, diesel and air fuel from Bangladesh.
Talking to the national news agency (RSS) before departure, Ghimire said that discussion would be held with Bangladeshi officials about all alternatives.
