Hospital operators claimed the 700-bed facility with state-of-the-art equipment is the largest institution in Mechi zone. Hospital Director Dr Umesh Kumar Sharma said the facility had spared
students the need to go out of the country to study medicine.
UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai, NC Central Working Committee member Dr Shashank Koirala and former Kathmandu University Vice-chancellor Dr Suresh Raj Sharma, among others, were present on the occasion.
