SIA to operate daily wide-body flights on Singapore– Kathmandu route in spring
The aircraft will be configured with a total of 337 seats, including 36 Business Class seats and 301 Economy Class seats.Post Report
Singapore Airlines (SIA) said it will operate seven weekly flights between Singapore and Kathmandu using wide-body aircraft during Nepal’s spring season in March and April, expanding capacity on the route to meet higher seasonal demand.
The airline said deploying wide-body aircraft will allow it to better cater to increased passenger traffic during the spring period, which coincides with the peak trekking season in Nepal. The season typically draws tourists from around the world seeking the country’s natural beauty and outdoor adventures, while also enabling Nepalis based overseas to return home to spend time with family and loved ones.
The wide-body aircraft will feature SIA’s KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system, in-flight Wi-Fi connectivity, fully flat beds and direct aisle access for all Business Class customers, along with ergonomically designed seats in Economy Class, offering passengers a more comfortable in-flight experience, the airline said in a statement.
The aircraft will be configured with a total of 337 seats, including 36 Business Class seats and 301 Economy Class seats. Customers will also have access to what the airline describes as the most comprehensive free unlimited Wi-Fi offering in the aviation industry.
