Barahi Jungle Lodge, nestled in the heart of Chitwan, has completed a comprehensive cleanup initiative in the vicinity of the Chitwan National Park.

The resort said in a statement that it has removed three tractorloads of waste, comprising plastic and glass bottles, among other debris. Barahi Jungle Lodge conducts annual cleanups as part of its proactive approach to environmental protection and sustainable development.

The lodge's efforts have been recognised through certification as an eco-certified establishment under the esteemed 'Toft Tiger' programme, consistently earning accolades in the Outstanding Practice category since 2015.

 Barahi Jungle Lodge recently achieved certification for its international-level Environmental Management Systems (EMS) under ISO-14001 standards.
