An agreement to this extent has been signed between CG and the Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN), the umbrella body of Nepal-based advertising agencies and the organiser of the event.
The agreement was signed by CG’s Senior General Manager Pradip Pudasaini and CG’s Assistant General Manager Lalbabu Prasad on behalf of CG, and AAN President Santosh Shrestha and AAN General Secretary Narayan Kumar Shrestha on behalf of the AAN.
The country will be hosting the ninth edition of the Crity Awards this year since the concept of holding the award ceremony was first floated around one-and-a-half decades ago. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held in the Nepali calendar month of Bhadra, which falls in between mid-August and mid-September. CG’s CG Brewery will be the main sponsor of the event, which will be “powered by CG Cement”, says a press statement issued by the AAN.
The 9th Crity Awards will see participation of 24 advertising agencies and awards will be extended under 24 different categories.
A four-member apex panel of judges has been formed under Bijay KC to evaluate the performance, and nominate candidates, says the statement.
All entries will be scanned by a sub-committee comprising specialists and prominent figures of different sectors. Further, representatives of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations will also be included in the grand jury, adds the AAN statement.
