The campaign, which will continue until July 31, aims to promote the country abroad by organising trade fairs and through social media.
Nepal Tourism Board will tie up with Nepali embassies in France, the UK and Japan to organise promotional programmes in respective countries, says a statement issued on Wednesday.
“The campaign has been initiated with the aim of inspiring visitors to try Nepal. We are positive that their experience will be one of a kind with lifetime memories,” the statement quotes NTB CEO Deepak Joshi as saying.
The campaign has been launched in partnership with American Express and Himalayan Bank, the sole merchant acquirer of American Express in Nepal. As part of the campaign, Himalayan Bank will be bringing together more than 100 American Express merchant offers across categories to promote local flavours of Nepal, says the statement.
American Express card members will be able to avail exclusive offers across various merchants ranging from lodging to dining and adventure tour operators. Some of the merchants which are already associated with American Express in Nepal are Dwarikas, Buddha Air and Yeti Airlines.
