BharatBenz trucks hit Nepal roads
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, a subsidiary of Germany’s Daimler AG, has launched its BharatBenz trucks in Nepal and unveiled state-of-the-art BharatBenzdealership in Birgunj.

The company launched seven models—914 R, 1214 R, 1217 C, 2523 R, 2523 C, 3123 R, 4023 T—of medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks with various usage and applications. The robust and fuel-efficient trucks were developed to meet customer expectations in India which will fit into Nepal market too, said the company in a statement.
Daimler India CEO and MD Erich Nesselhauf said entering the Nepali market marks the next step in expanding export business of the company.
“BharatBenz will be an appropriate fit for this country as there are many similarities between the Indian and Nepali markets,” he said. “Our state-of-the-art dealership network is fully equipped with highly skilled manpower and service capabilities to fulfill the requirements of our customers.”
