mobiles in Nepal, has launched the Canvas Knight A350 smartphone in the domestic market. The company has said that this is the first smartphone from Micromax using Octa-Core processor.

The smartphone comes with a full aluminium body casing and 5-inch Sharp full HD IPS display. It is powered by a 2 GHz Octa-Core MT 6592 T processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

According to Shrutika Manandhar, brand manager of the company, the Canvas Knight sports a 16 mega pixel

rear camera with Omni Vision Camera Chip sensor and an M8 Largan lens with voice command. The device also has an 8 mega pixel front-facing camera.

“As the camera is paired with the Omni Vision’s Camera Chip sensor and the new generation M8 Largan lens, users can take pictures by giving a voice command, that is, saying ‘Cheese’ or ‘Capture’,” she said. “Moreover, it has a unique feature named Camerazzi which offers a host of innovative functions including 360-degree panorama, cinema graph and object eraser.”

The phone has dual SIM functionality, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. In terms of connectivity, the device supports Bluetooth v4.0, 3 G and Wi-Fi. The Canvas Knight A350 also comes with a Yamaha amplifier for music lovers which gives great audio output delivering a cinematic entertainment experience. It is powered by a 2350 mAh battery and comes with 32 GB of internal storage.

The smartphone’s operating system provides access to unlimited applications which can be downloaded via the pre-loaded Google Play Store. The device also features smart gestures that give users an array of features like proximity answer phone, upside silent, upside speaker and proximity dial phone for hassle-free functioning.

Another notable feature of the Canvas Knight is Full HD 1080p video recording and playback which allows customers to record videos with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at a speed of 30 frames per second.

Similarly, for anti-theft and anti-virus protection, the phone features M!Security. It has other preloaded apps like M!Live Opera Mini, Truecaller, GetIt, M!Vault and Real Steel WRB, among others. The phone is packed with lots of fun and new applications like BBM & Hike for instant messaging, Spuul to watch free movies and TV shows and Kingsoft Office Suite to read, write and edit documents on the go.

According to Manandhar, the mobile is available in white gold colour, and is priced at Rs 34,500 in the domestic market.
