Solutions requiredThere should be more investigative reporting, exposing corrupt practises done by politicians.
It seems the story of Animal Farm by George Orwell was written for our politicians. The author did a splendid job showing us the motivations behind our politicians (‘The oppressed have become the oppressors’, September 4). However, the solutions to this problem have not been prescribed in the article. The author says the young leaders should come together and become an example of model politicians. But only this will not lead to any concrete solutions. We need a more vibrant and active media participation. There should be more investigative reporting, exposing corrupt practises done by politicians. Visual platforms are already broadcasting these kinds of reporting on various issues. I urge the editorial board to continue to raise their voice on various government schemes and the follow-ups on their implementation.
