German biathlete and double Olympic champion Laura Dahlmeier has died following a mountaineering accident in Pakistan, according to a report by Bild newspaper citing news agency DPA.
Born in August 1993, she started in her first world cup races in 2012-13 season and took the retirement from the competition in May 2019.
