Nepal records a Covid death, 82 new cases
Of the 82 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours, 37 were PCR-confirmed while 45 others tested positive through antigen test.

Nepal recorded one Covid-related death in the last 24 hours, taking the nationwide Covid-related death tally to 12,028 since the pandemic began three years ago.
According to the Health Ministry, the country reported 37 new PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.
Similarly, of the 1,140 antigen tests taken, 45 people tested positive for the virus.
A total of 494 PCR tests were performed in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Wednesday, a total of 6,032,839 PCR and 1,568,644 antigen tests have been performed.
The nationwide infection tally now stands at 1,002,791.
On Wednesday, five individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country while one other was on ventilator support.
Likewise, 29 people have been kept under institutional isolation.
