Two more Covid-19 cases take Nepal’s tally to 101
New cases were detected in Kapilvastu residents, Health Ministry says.

Nepal’s Covid-19 tally reached 101 on Thursday after the Health Ministry confirmed two more positive cases in Kapilvastu.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, tests conducted at the Kathmandu-based National Public Health Laboratory on swab samples of two Kapilvastu residents came positive for Covid-19.
The ministry said the health condition of both the patients is normal and they are under observation.
Earlier on Wednesday, the ministry had confirmed 17 new cases of Covid-19 in Parsa district.
In view of the rising number of coronavirus cases in the country, the government on Wednesday decided to extend the nationwide lockdown until May 18.
