Two dead and 28 injured in jeep accident
Preliminary investigation suggests the cause of the accident was an overloaded vehicle, the police said.

Two passengers died and 28 were injured when a crowded jeep met with an accident in Baluwadanda, Kawasoti Municipality, Nawalparasi East district, at 11 am on Saturday. Among the injured, nine are reported to be in critical condition.
According to Yadav Dhakal, chief of the district police office, the victims have been identified as Pabitra Masrangi and her brother Pawan, both from Bulingtar. The Ba Pra 0700 1 Ja 0020 jeep was en route from Baluwadanda to Kawasoti when it plunged off the road, causing the injuries, he said.
Police Chief Dhakal informed that preliminary information suggests the cause of the accident was an overloaded vehicle, which contributed to it losing control on a bend.
