Two inmates escape from Lumjung prison
The prison CCTV footage showed that the runaway prisoners stacked bamboo stools to scale the prison wall and escape from the facility.

Two people escaped from a prison in Lamjung on Thursday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Rimal, Binod BK, 27, an inmate serving a four-year sentence, and 37-year-old Chandraman Gurung, who was remanded in custody at the prison, scaled the prison wall and escaped at 1:30am on Thursday,
According to Chief District Officer Ram Krishna Adhikari, prison CCTV footage showed the runaway prisoners stacking bamboo stools for the jailbreak.
BK was serving a four-year sentence after being convicted on a rape charge while Gurung was at the prison under judicial custody for embezzlement.
Police informed that a search is underway for the fugitives.
