Scottish theme event in Nepal

Hotel Yak and Yeti hosted a Scottish themed event for the first time in Nepal at the hotel’s premises on January 25. The occasion was the celebration of the 257th birth anniversary of Robert Burns, the national poet of Scotland, where the hotel hosted a delightful evening with a Scottish feast at the hotel’s Sunrise Restaurant.
Robert Burns, more commonly known as ‘Rabbie’, remains one of the most celebrated figures in Scottish history and culture. The event was held to celebrate Burn’s legacy in the literary world. The hotel’s master chefs stretched their skills by cooking Haggis, a traditional Scottish sausage made from a sheep’s stomach stuffed with diced sheep’s liver, lungs and heart, oatmeal, onion, suet and seasoning, exclusively for the night. The evening was complimented by the dulcet tone of Scottish bagpipe. The annual Burns Night celebration is held across Scotland on January 25 every year.
