Sarwanam Theatre recently completed its eighth edition of theatre training workshop.
To mark the occasion, the theatre is currently staging Badalka Aakarharu, directed and produced by students of Sarwanam themselves.
The play is set in a fictional bank, where characters—a few looters, a manager and a security personnel—come together in a difficult, but hilarious, circumstance. The play then goes on to weave a plot based on those characters.
The play features actors Pravin Adhikari, Dharmendra Dhwoj Malla, Prajan Pousdel, Bhisma Joshi, Shivaram Aryal, Madhav Prasad Banjare, John Yonjan, Dibhij Devkota, and Bimba Adhikari, among others.
The workshop is conducted every three months by the theatre.
