Pulsar Dare Venture I closes with a blast
Nepal’s first ever bike adventure reality show, Pulsar Dare Venture I, organised by Bajaj, has come to an end with its winners announced at Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu, on Saturday.
judged on the basis of SMS and Facebook voting. Aqib Abdul Atique and Anil Kumar Kushwahi won the title of the Most Disciplined Rider and the Most Daring Rider respectively. They were awarded a cash prize of Rs 150,000 each.
Ten bikers were selected from a total of 800 applicants and were given an intensive training by three mentors from Bikers Nepal, so as to prepare them for the nerve-wracking adventure. The journey had begun in Kathmandu, from where the participants travelled to Pokhara, Jomsom and finally to Upper Mustang. The riders not only had an adventurous journey, they also distributed first-aid kits to schools and painted school walls.
“It was an alluring opportunity for the participants to experience riding to Upper Mustang,” said Executive Director of HH Bajaj, Shekhar Golchha, revealing that they will soon be working on the second season of the show. He added that there
will be more seasons of the reality show in the future that will feature “unseen and unexpolored terrians of enigmatic Nepal.”
Rock Icon Robin Tamang, who co-hosted the reality show with actress Nisha Adhikari, performed two acoustic numbers during the closing ceremony. Nritya Aangan, a dance group, as well as Diya Maskey and the Team took to stage for dance performances. The show was broadcast every Saturday, 9 pm to 10 pm, on Kantipur Television this year.
