Kathmandu valley is home to seven out of ten UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites in Nepal. The sites, Durbar squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur, Swayambhunatha, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Changunarayan, are crowded with domestic and international visitors on normal days. But, they wear an empty and deserted look now as the country is under lockdown to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Post’s Kiran Panday took some pictures of the heritage sites.
