Heavy downpour waterlogged various roads in Kathmandu on Monday valley causing troubles for commuters across the Valley.

The movement of pedestrians and vehicles became troublesome as heavy thundershowers since Sunday afternoon left the Valley roads in a mess.

Many roads in the Capital were waterlogged following the rainfall, thanks to the poor drainage system worsened by the ongoing road expansion drive.

However, this is not the first time Kathmandu residents faced such hardship as most of the roads in the Capital face similar plight during monsoon in lack of proper drainage system.
