Police have arrested a murder convict who had been on the run for 20 years.
A team led by Police Inspector Deu Prasad Limbu arrested 51-year-old Chaturman Tamang on Wednesday acting on a tip-off.
Tamang had killed 36-year-old Parshuram Bishwakarma of Jarayotar in ward 4 of Arun Rural Municipality of Bhojpur, on April 4, 2005. Though he absconded after the crime, the Sankhuwasabha District Court sentenced him to 20 years in prison on November 3, 2010.
