Biratnagar
A youth was killed in a knife attack in Biratnagar on Wednesday night.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Gyanendra Basnet, also the spokesperson for the Morang police, Aklesh Kumar Yadav of Duhabi Municipality-12 died after being attacked by Biratnagar local Ganesh Yadav.
The victim had sustained injuries at three places across his body and was rushed to the Nobel Medical College, where he died in the course of treatment, police said.
Aklesh was in Biratnagar to attend his cousin’s wedding. The victim and the accused had engaged in a minor argument a few days ago.
Accused Ganesh is on the run.
