Janamat Party unanimously elects CK Raut its parliamentary party leader

Rastriya Janamat Party unanimously elected President Chandra Kant Raut, also known as CK Raut, as the leader of the parliamentary party on Sunday.
Raut was elected for the post by the meeting of the parliamentary party held at the party office in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu.
“CK Raut was unanimously elected as the leader of the parliamentary party of the party,” General Secretary Chandan Raut said. “He is the leader of our party. There is no alternative to him.”
“We officially handed the responsibility to him after completing the due process,” said Chandan.
Rastriya Janamat Party also elected other officials of its parliamentary party. Abdul Khan has been elected deputy leader, Anita Sah as chief whip, Goma Labh Sapkota as whip, Binita Singh Danuwar as secretary and Sonu Murmu as treasurer.
CK Raut is the only directly elected lawmaker from the Rastriya Janamat Party, which has secured five seats through proportional ballot. The party is preparing to enter the government as a decisive force.
