Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chair Rabi Lamichhane met President Ramchandra Paudel on Monday and briefed him on the damage caused by the Bhotekoshi floods and the ongoing search, rescue and relief efforts.
Lamichhane visited President Paudel at Sheetal Niwas, the President’s Office, according to RSP spokesperson Jagdish Kharel.
“Chair Lamichhane briefed the President on the floods that entered the Trishuli River through the Bhotekoshi and the damage they caused, as well as the ongoing rescue and relief efforts,” Kharel said.
Lamichhane had also met Prime Minister Balendra Shah on Monday. According to Kharel, Lamichhane briefed the president after receiving an update from the prime minister on the government’s response to the disaster.
