Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Khagendra Sunar has secured victory in Banke Constituency No. 3. Sunar received 29,551 votes, defeating CPN-UML candidate Suman Malla, who secured 19,615 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Amar Singh Pun came third with 13,215 votes.
Meanwhile, in Surkhet Constituency No. 2, RSP candidate Ramesh Kumar Sapkota maintains a lead of over 4,600 votes.
Sapkota has received 12,638 votes, ahead of Nepali Congress’ Narayan Kumar Koirala, who has 8,571 votes. CPN-UML’s Kulmani Devkota follows with 6,827 votes, while Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Jhak Bahadur Malla has 3,256 votes.
