School teacher dies of snakebite in Dang
The victim was bitten at home and succumbed to injuries during treatment at a local hospital.

A school teacher from a community school in Deukhuri, Dang, died of a snakebite on Monday.
According to the District Police Office, Shalikram Yadav, a teacher at Shankar Secondary School in Khardariya, Rajpur Rural Municipality-3, was bitten by a snake at his residence.
He was rushed to Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Ghorahi for treatment, but he succumbed to the bite during the course of medical care.
Snakebite cases tend to increase in the Tarai region, including Dang, with the onset of the monsoon season.
