A 22-month-old boy died on Sunday after being bitten by a snake in Tulsipur-13, Runiyapur, of Dang district.
According to the Area Police Office in Tulsipur, the child, Anish Pariyar, was playing inside his home when a snake bit the back of his left palm.
He was immediately rushed to Rapti Provincial Hospital in Tulsipur, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
