A woman was killed after being struck by lightning in Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality-7, Khotang, on Saturday morning.
According to Inspector Mohan Pokharel, spokesperson for the Khotang District Police Office, 45-year-old Dilkumari Rai was struck around 4:30 am while collecting belongings from her yard after rainfall. She died on the spot.
