President Ramchandra Paudel, along with First Lady Sabita Paudel, observed Chhath festival by worshipping Chhathi Mata on Thursday. The President visited the Chhath worship sites at Gaurighat and Kamal Pokhari in Kathmandu to perform the puja.

President Paudel and the First Lady offered 'arghya' to the setting sun at the worship sites. His visit began at the Guhyeshwari Temple, where he conducted prayers and made offerings along the banks of the Bagmati River.

Following this, the President proceeded to the Chhath worship site at Kamal Pokhari for further prayers. Upon his arrival at both locations, President Paudel was warmly received by members of the Chhath Puja Organising Committee.
