Aryal appointed Chief Secretary, Bairagi adviser to National Security Council
The decisions were taken during a Cabinet meeting on Thursday.

Baikuntha Aryal has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal.
A Cabinet meeting held on Thursday took the decision, the Office of the Prime Minister said.
Aryal was serving as the secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister.
Similarly, incumbent Chief Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi has been appointed as an adviser to the National Security Council.
Bairagi, who was to retire from his post after three months, resigned on Thursday to take up the new responsibility.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister, after the Cabinet decision, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bairagi.
