12 injured in Tanahun minibus accident

At least 12 passengers were injured when a minibus crashed at Bandipur Rural Municipality of Tanahun district on Saturday afternoon.
The bus heading to Damauli from Dumre crashed into a hillside after the driver lost control of the vehicle, according to the Tanahun District Police Office.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Bahadur Khand said those injured in the accident were sent to Ratnahari Memorial Hospital in Damauli and Moti Medical Hall in Dumre for treatment.
A total of seven passengers have been referred to the National Trauma Centre in Kathmandu and four others to Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara for further treatment, he said.
