Kathmandu
Newly elected National Assembly member Kumar Dasaudi on Friday took an oath of office and secrecy.

Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, chairman of the National Assembly, administered the oath to Dasaudi amid a function Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar.

Dasaudi was elected to the upper house from Lumbini province in the by-election held on February 8.

The by-election for a National Assembly seat was held after UML’s Khimlal Bhattarai resigned as an upper house member to contest as a member of the House of Representatives.
