Grade 12 examinations results out
None of the students secured 4 GPA.Post Report
The National Examinations Board has published the results of the grade 12 examinations held in May-June.
As per the results, 4,171 students secured the grade point average (GPA) between 3.61 to 4. Similarly, 30,107 students got GPA between 3.21 to 3.60. None of the students secured 4.0 GPA.
“As many 188,410 students are in the non-graded category,” said Durga Aryal, member secretary at the board.
They will not be eligible to pursue undergraduate courses. The share of the students in the non-graded category is over 52 percent of the total examinees.
A total of 363,oo8 examinees appeared in the grade 12 examinations in 1,292 exam centres across the country.
According to the board, the grade-improving examinations will be conducted on September 15 and 16. Students who have been placed in non-graded category, in a maximum of two subjects, can reappear in the grade-improving examinations.
