Nepal Communist Party lawmaker Bhanubhakta Dhakal has been appointed the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on Friday.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli appointed Dhakal, a lawmaker elected from Morang-3.
Former Law Minister Sher Bahadur Tamang, who had come under criticism from several quarters for his controversial remarks on Nepali female students pursing MBBS in Bangladesh, had resigned from the post on July 24.
