Nepali Congress (NC) has appointed Krishna Chandra Nepali (Pokharel) as its Parliamentary Party leader in Province 4.
The 73-year-old’s appointment comes after a prolonged intra-party discussion. A Parliamentary Party meeting on Saturday in Pokhara took the decision, informed provincial lawmaker Bishnu Lamichhane.
Similarly, Mani Bhadra Kandel of Baglung has been appointed as the chief whip of the province.
NC has made the appointments five months after the election.
