Arzu Rana Deuba loses to CPN-UML's Narad Muni in Kailali-5
Social worker and Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Arzu Rana Deuba lost to left alliance leader Narad Muni Rana in the parliamentary elections from Kailali-5.

Social worker and Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Arzu Rana Deuba lost to left alliance leader Narad Muni Rana in the parliamentary elections from Kailali-5. Rana is wife of NC President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
CPN-UML candidate Narad Muni Rana defeated Rana by a margin of 4880 votes.
Narad Muni mustered 27,202 votes while Arju garnered 22,322 votes. A total of 61000 votes were cast in Kailali-5.
