NC opens account as Singh elected in Kathmandu-1
Nepali Congress (NC) has opened account in Parliamentary elections with the victory of Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Prakash Man Singh in Kathmandu constituency-1.

Nepali Congress (NC) has opened account in Parliamentary elections with the victory of Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Prakash Man Singh in Kathmandu constituency-1. He defeated his closest rival candidate of Bibeksheel Sajha Party's Rabindra Mishra by a margin of only 818 votes.
Singh secured 10936 votes against Mishra's 10118 votes, while left alliance candidate Anil Sharma garnered 5336 votes. The constituency was keenly watched by many people.
After the counting result was announced, Mishra called Singh on his cellphone and congratulated him for his victory.
