Lionel Messi returned from injury to score for Barcelona as Luis Enrique's side won their fifth trophy of 2015 with a 3-0 Club World Cup final victory over River Plate in Yokohama, with Luis Suarez netting a brace.
Neymar and Messi both missed the semifinal victory against Guangzhou Evergrande through injury, but the pair returned to Barca's starting XI for the final against Argentine champions River at International Stadium Yokohama on Sunday.
The pair combined for the opening goal with Messi starting the move and spreading the play to Dani Alves, and Neymar heading down the right-back's cross for the Argentina captain to finish from six yards out nine minutes from half-time.
Suarez scored a hat trick in the semifinal against Evergrande, and netted another two in the final to cap a superb tournament. The Uruguay forward dented River's hopes of a potential comeback with a fine finish after a superb interception and pass from Sergio Busquets four minutes after the interval.
Neymar was then denied a penalty after being brought down in the River penalty area, but got his revenge with another assist to set up Suarez for his second of the match with a header 22 minutes from time — moving himself level with Messi and Cesar Delgado as the Club World Cup's all-time top scorers with five.
The victory earned Barca their fifth trophy of the calendar year, having already won the Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey and UEFA Super Cup.
