A transport truck with Indian registration number plate was set ablaze by an unidentified group at Ghorai-Lamahi road section on Monday.
The truck (UP55C4025) was returning after off-loading banana consignment at Ghorahi of Dang when a group of around five people intercepted it at Chupatta and set it on fire, according to the truck driver Sukadev Yadav.
The truck has been completely gutted in the fire, according to Dang police chief Kuber Kadayat.
