8 killed in Ramechhap bus crash
Eight people were killed and around fifty injured in a bus accident at Gairhathok, Salu in Ramechhap district on Friday. The bus (Na 4 Kha 5248) belonging to Araniko Yatayat was heading towards Gothgaun from Manthali, the district headquarters.bookmark

Eight people were killed and around fifty injured in a bus accident at Gairhathok, Salu in Ramechhap district on Friday. The bus (Na 4 Kha 5248) belonging to Araniko Yatayat was heading towards Gothgaun from Manthali, the district headquarters.
Police have identified the deceased as Hem Bahadur Thapa, Masini Karki, Setumaya Shrestha, Bhim Bahadur Budhathoki and Krishna Karki (all from Gothgaun); Mankumari Pithakoti and Dilmaya Alemagar (of Manthali), Jitjung Mahat of Bijulikot.
Ten of the seriously injured in the crash were taken to Kathmandu for further treatment, while the others are receiving treatment at Tamakoshi Cooperative Hospital in the district.
