Himalaya Airlines gifts AC to Nepal Orthopaedic Hospital
The air conditioner was installed at the Sagarmatha General Ward of the hospital where needy patients receive quality orthopaedic care at affordable service charges, the airline said.Post Report
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Himalaya Airlines on Monday handed over a 2-tonne standing air conditioner to Nepal Orthopaedic Hospital.
The airline said in a press statement that the air conditioner was handed over to Samden Lama, the chairperson and Dr Kailash Kumar Bhandari, the medical director of Nepal Orthopaedic Hospital.
The air conditioner was installed at the Sagarmatha General Ward of the hospital where needy patients receive quality orthopaedic care at affordable service charges, the airline said.
The ward serves patients in poor economic conditions and is located on the top floor of the hospital where the patients as well as the medical and serving staff often experience high temperatures and humid conditions.
