Janardan Sharma re-elected from Rukum West-1
Sharma won the election race by a margin of 26,588 votes.

CPN (Maoist Centre) candidate Janardan Sharma has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Rukum West-1. He garnered 39,549 votes.
Sharma won the election race by a margin of 26,588 votes. His closest competitor, Nanda Ram Devkota of the CPN-UML, received 12,961 votes while Tara K.C, an independent candidate, got 3,567 votes.
Sharma had previously been elected from the same constituency.
